Harpist, Ina Yoon
Harpist Ina Yoon is one of the actively working harpists in Auckland, New Zealand. Ina is currently under Carolyn Mills (NZSO principal harpist) through NZSO mentorship programme, and previously she was taught by Maria Luisa Ryan (USA), Anne Young (USA) and Yi Jin (NZ).
As a soloist, Ina has invited and performed at the 4th Korea International Harp Festival which was held in Seoul, Korea in 2018. She also performed as a guest soloist at 2016 Auckland Heritage Festival.
Ina is an experienced orchestra harpist, has debut with Auckland Youth Orchestra in 2011, performed in Germany, Austria and Slovenia. She has been playing with Auckland Symphony Orchestra as a principal harpist, and also worked with Aorangi Symphony Orchestra, Leys Orchestra, Auckland Youth Choir, Polymnia Ensemble and Blackbird Ensemble.
Ina is a founder member of Te Anahera Harp Ensemble, directed by Yi Jin. The ensemble has appeared at number of major events in Auckland area including Parnell Festival of Rose and Music in Parks.
Ina is currently working towards Diploma of Associated Board of Royal School of Music based in London, UK.
Ina is also a wine & international trade professional and has interests in pottery, flower and travel.
